About our livery

At Burnockmill Equestrian, we aim to provide a quiet, relaxed atmosphere for both horse and rider. With a limited number of high quality stables, peaceful surroundings and high level of care for horses, we believe that you, and your horse, will enjoy your time at the yard.

The main yard has 9 large stables, situated in a spacious barn, providing ample covered area for you to attend to your horse's every need. Every stable has fully fitted rubber matting, hay rack, feed and water troughs and is well lit.

The new yard is more traditional with 9 stables of varying sizes.  The stables are designed to give each horse there own space whilst allowing them to be able to see other horses at all times.

We only use high quality branded feeds and haylage is produced on site. Shavings etc are all sourced locally and we try our best to find quality products.

We are able to offer all year turnout in well maintained paddocks. Turnout can be completely tailored to suit each horse.

We understand that each horse is an individual and has its own needs and preferences. Prior to your horse coming to stay with us we will discuss  your horse's personal requirements and, once agreed,  these will be incorporated into your livery contract. This means that you can relax and be assured that your horse's welfare and happiness are being catered for. However, we know that a horse's mood and behaviour can change so these contract conditions can be changed to suit.

The above show what we feel is a good routine for your horse, but as you will appreciate, there is no such thing as a typical day. We strive to keep your horse in a daily routine, however turnout times will be monitored daily and amended to suit your horse and the lovely Scottish weather!

Grazing is available throughout the year but is dependent on horse numbers and weather conditions. Please contact us should you wish more information on this. Click here for 2009 price list
