Burnockmill Welsh Ponies
***This page us under construction - please visit again soon to see additional information***
Burnockmill is a new small stud aiming to breed performance Welsh ponies and part breds.
Welsh Cobs
Nantgwinau Susanna
Annie is by Geler Dago out of Pendam Sally. Annie has competed in Workers, ridden M&M, showjumping and cross country. She loves to jump and is very bold - the scarier the jump the better. We hope that Annie passes her jumping skills onto her offspring. Annie has been left empty this year so she can do some ridden competition next season. She will hopefully go back in foal in the spring.
Burnockmill Kappilano
Annie bred her first foal this year, a cracking bay colt by Passford Sunnay Boy. Hopefully Kappi will follow in his sire's footsteps and have a successful in-hand career before going on to ridden competitions. It is our aim to keep Kappi and stand him at stud in the future.
Welsh Ponies of Cob Type
Rhoswen Rebel
We are pleased to introduce a new member to the Burnockmill Stud. Rebel is a 3yo colt who will hopefully go out under saddle next year and stand at stud in the near future. Rebel has already been a prizewinner at major shows including, 6th Lampeter,4th Glanusk and 3rd Great Yorkshire and is also a bronze medal winner. His showing career in Scotland got off to a good start with Rebel winning the 2/3yo Large M&M inhand class at the Scottish Supreme Showing Championship held at Ingliston on 24th September. He will stand at stud next year to a limited number of mares.

Lledr Lady Iona
We are pleased to have Lledr Lady Iona - Iona at home - on loan as an addition to our small stud. Iona has had two cracking foals in the past and we hope that she will continue to breed good quality foals. In the short time that we have had her, Iona has been successful in the show ring being in the top placings in every class including a supreme championship locally and gaining 2nd place at the festival of champions held at Ingliston Equestrian Centre. We hope she can continue her winning ways next season before she relaxes into her stud duties.
Iona has been scanned in foal to Parvadean Replay - fingers crossed we'll have a lovely C foal in May next year.
We sometimes have Welsh youngstock/ ridden ponies for sale - please contact us for information.
